Overview
SEASONAL TRAFFIC TECHNICIAN MAINTENANCE WORKER
HIRING RANGE: $18.50 PER HOUR
Under the direct supervision of a Crew Leader, the Seasonal Traffic Technician Maintenance Worker will lay out, stripe, paint, and maintain road lane lines, centerlines, crosswalks, turn arrows, stop bars, parking stalls, and other pavement markings. The worker will also assist with the removal, installation, and maintenance of traffic control devices and maintain accurate and up-to-date paper and computer records related to a particular area of assignment.
AboutOur Traffic Operations Division
The traffic operations division is responsible for installing pavement markings and striping the City of Grand Junction's roadways. We also fabricate, install, and maintain all signs within City limits. Our team members are self-starters with a positive attitude and a dedicated work ethic. WhatYou ll Do
- Tail trucking for striping operations
- Tabbing and street layout
- Sign fabrication and installation
- Install pavement markings
This position is a safety-sensitive position, which means you will be subject to random drug screens due to the nature of the work performed.
What We re Looking For- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Applicants must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and, if required for the specific position, a physical examination.
- Possession or the ability to obtain a valid Colorado Driver s License.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
