Colorado Area Floorhand

At Helmerich & Payne (H&P), we are recruiting a Colorado Area Floorhand located in Grand Junction, CO. This onsite, non‑supervisory rig‑based drilling position requires a minimum of 18 years of age and a post‑offer physical examination. The work schedule typically involves 12‑hour shifts for 14‑28 consecutive days followed by 14‑28 days off.

• Perform rig‑up and rig‑down activities
• Operate general equipment and carry out repairs and maintenance on rig components
• Carry out assigned activities on the rig floor, including mud‑mixing and handling tubulars in the derrick
• Support other duties as assigned
• Demonstrate H&P values:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Post‑offer physical examination is required
• Proper legal authorization to work in the country where the rig operates
• Work assignments are generally 12 hours per day for 14‑28 consecutive days, followed by 14‑28 days off
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions and solve problems with limited variables in standardized situations
• Basic ability to understand, speak, read and write English
• Basic computer skills
• Non‑entry‑level positions require at least six months of prior drilling experience and knowledge of drilling procedures
• Prior mechanical equipment experience is preferred for motorman positions

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act: $25.00 – $34.50 per hour (actual compensation may vary based on location, experience and performance).
