* What You Will Do:

*** The facilities maintenance technician position is responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain various production and facility equipment.  Strong troubleshooting skills required.
* Perform both electrical and mechanical work to makes emergency repairs from basic equipment to limit excessive downtime and production delays.
* Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
* Collect and analyze data to perform root cause analysis of production equipment problems.
* Use hand tools, power tools, oscilloscope and modern test equipment as required.
* Perform facilities maintenance including light plumbing, electric, HVAC, preventive maintenance.
* Order and maintain critical spare parts and supplies.
* Follows proper lock out/tag out procedures as required. Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE.
* Maintain safe work practices at all times.
* Ensure good housekeeping in area where working.
* Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations.
* Follow detailed instructions.
* Learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
* Must be team-oriented with the ability to work with others including engineering, quality, managers, operators, etc.
* Follow all 6S practices and supports continuous improvement activities.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
