Maintenance Associate

About the Role:

The Maintenance Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facility equipment and infrastructure across our United States locations. This position is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery and building systems. The Maintenance Associate collaborates closely with other team members to identify potential issues before they escalate, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. Ultimately, the Maintenance Associate helps maintain operational continuity and supports the overall success of the organization by keeping all physical assets in optimal condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance or a related technical field.
• Experience/knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience/knowledge of basic landscaping

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with facility management and other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and schedule repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems as needed.
• Mowing, planting flowers/shrubs, weeding, trimming to create visual appeal.
