Seasonal Maintenance Worker

Seasonal Maintenance Worker responsible for maintaining City facilities and grounds to provide a safe and clean environment for the community.

• Maintain the exterior of facilities by sweeping sidewalks, removing litter, debris, and trash, mowing lawns, replacing exterior lights, and managing irrigation.
• Maintain grounds by picking up litter, cleaning and repairing restrooms, emptying trash barrels, mowing grass, trimming trees, planting shrubs and flowers, and maintaining turf.
• Provide customer service to the public by giving requested information and ensuring guest security.
• Perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor or manager and maintain regular, punctual attendance for scheduled work hours.

• Education: Less than high school or equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Experience: Up to one year of relevant experience.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and understand simple processes and routine operation of machines.
