We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead all maintenance, reliability, and facility operations in our fast-paced, two-shift manufacturing environment. In this role, you will drive maximum equipment uptime, champion a culture of safety, and manage capital improvement projects while coaching a skilled, cross-functional team of supervisors and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Development:
    Direct, coach, and schedule maintenance personnel across two shifts, building a skilled, cross-trained organization through structured training and clear accountability.
  • Maintenance Operations:
    Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime using our CMMS.
  • Technical Oversight:
    Provide guidance on automated manufacturing systems, PLCs, HMIs, electrical systems up to 480V, and mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Facilities Management:
    Manage building infrastructure, HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and life-safety systems to ensure clean, safe, and fully compliant facilities.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    Enforce rigorous safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs, and ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local building codes.
  • Capital Projects & Budgets:
    Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets, oversee spare parts inventory, and lead capital expenditure projects alongside outside contractors and vendors.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives using TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 5 years of maintenance leadership experience managing supervisors and technicians in a multi-shift operation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field (equivalent trade certifications and significant leadership experience will be considered).
  • Technical knowledge of PLCs, automated controls, industrial electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Proven track record managing capital projects, maintenance budgets, and CMMS-driven operations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards including OSHA, EPA, and NFPA.

  • Budget & Inventory:
    Manage annual operational budgets, spare parts inventories, and procurement while driving cost-reduction strategies.
  • Capital Projects & Vendors:
    Plan and execute facility cap-ex projects, manage contractor activities, and oversee equipment installations on time and within budget.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Drive Lean, TPM, 5S, and root cause analysis initiatives using CMMS data to minimize downtime and enhance plant efficiency.
