Summary of Role/Position
The Maintenance Supervisorkeeps the facility running efficiently by overseeing personnel and equipment. Monitor and makes repairs and adjustments to the facility equipment, including but not limited to all lift equipment(Raymond), charging systems,Box on Demand machines,emergency backup generator, spotter truck, sweeper, and conveyor systems. Assists with maintenance of physical plant and special projects as assigned.
You Will- Troubleshoot and root cause machinedowntime.
- Report issues and create work assignments for the staff.
- Review assigned job orders daily anddeterminework priorities.
Makesnecessary repairsandadjustments to equipment andcompletesall assigned maintenance tasks on time andin accordance withcompanystandards. - Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance to schedule and standard . Make major and minor repairsandschedule equipment for repair. Work with Supervisors to ensureutilizationof equipment and rotation schedules.
- Inspect equipment daily or as needed for conformance with operational and safety standards.
- Submit requisitions for tools, equipment, parts, and suppliesrequiredtomaintainequipment operations.
- Oversee workers and perform human resource and administrative duties, such as hiring, training, and promoting. Motivating employees, resolving disputes, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Create periodic reports, work schedules, employee payroll processing, and budget planning.
- Maintain inventory, such as cleaning supplies, tools, and office supplies.
- Inspect the building toidentifymaintenance issues, such as clogged drains, leaky ceilings, and faulty electrical switches.
- Other duties as assigned or necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or six years relatedworkexperienceandtraining; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experiencemaintainingconveyance, industrial trucks, automation, and other industrial machinery.
- Basic reading, writing, and math.
- Schematic/Blueprintreading a plus .
- OSHA certified in equipment operation.
- Ability to be on call as needed.
