Building Maintenance, Facility Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Provide quality customer service focused building maintenance, and support to ensure staff providing direct care and administrative services are supported by safe and welcoming physical spaces. Primary responsibilities include:
- Partner with Facility Manager to complete and plan maintenance work required to upkeep building, grounds systems and to in some locations, meet State Licensing requirements
- Perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned, including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, grounds, carpentry work, painting, furniture/office moves, and equipment repair
- Respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests from programs for items needing repair in their buildings
- Travel to facilities in multiple west Michigan counties with own and/or company vehicle
- Maintain positive communications with internal customers and external vendors

Position Requirements- One year of experience with building maintenance (painting, minor plumbing, minor electrical, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, etc.)
- Knowledge of building equipment, building codes, and building systems
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency calls when on call after normal business hours
- Physical ability to perform functions of the position
- Ability to routinely lift 25‑50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs
- Valid Driver’s License, current auto insurance and clean driving history
