Applied Innovation is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused individual to join our Administration Department as a Lead Shipping and Receiving Associate. This hands‑on role is responsible for coordinating daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and protection of company assets. The Lead Shipping and Receiving Associate reports directly to the Shipping & Receiving Manager and works closely with internal teams and vendors to support operational excellence.

The Lead Shipping and Receiving Associate provides direct supervision, guidance, and task coordination for shipping and receiving staff.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Examine shipment contents and compare with invoices to verify accuracy
  • Record shipment data including weight, charges, damages, and discrepancies
  • Maintains equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected
  • Maintain software database by receiving and processing supplies in the system
  • Sort and place inventory on racks and shelves
  • Add setup supplies to new equipment orders as needed
    • Inventory of setup supplies including other locations (travel is required)
  • Ordering for the department
  • Inventory Shutdown of department, including deadstock and OEM pallet
Minimum Qualifications

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

  • Possess demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Must be dependable, professional, organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
Education/License/Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
  • OSHA forklift certification preferred; must be willing to obtain certification upon hire
  • Prior client interaction experience preferred
