Housekeeper, 7am-3:30pm

Compensation: $15.61 - $17.69 / hour
Description
Schedule: 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm | Rotating Weekends - must be available for first shift | One holiday per year

As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and vibrant community! You'll bring energy and attention to detail as you ensure our spaces are spotless, safe, and inviting. Your work helps cultivate a comfortable environment where everyone feels right at home, and you're part of a team that strives to make every day brighter and more enjoyable for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
- Vacuum and mop floors, carpets, and rugs.
- Cleans residents' rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways as assigned.
- Change bed linens and make beds according to established standards.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, appliances, and utensils.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
- Organize and maintain storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 18 years of age or older.
- Experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment, preferred.
- Must possess knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 pounds.
