The Maintenance / Facilities Technician will assist the Maintenance Director and the Housekeeping & Laundry Director in the completion of day‑to‑day activities involving all environmental services of the facility, equipment and machinery—including HVAC, lighting systems, groundskeeping, and overall facility appearance. This position will assist other maintenance and groundskeeping staff, and help plan services with outside vendors and contractors.

• 8‑hour shifts
• Full‑time position

• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain the facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment.
• Assist with routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., including cutting, trimming, policing, and sweeping as directed.
• Assist with routine maintenance and repair of facility equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure that equipment and supplies are in good working order, properly maintained, used, cleaned, and stored safely and per manufacturer guidelines and facility policies.
• Assist with ordering and help maintain an adequate level of supplies for the housekeeping department in a cost‑effective and efficient manner.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
• Basic computer skills; experience utilizing electronic work orders is a plus.
