Summary:
This position provides maintenance support for the churches, cemeteries and school within the CPR cluster of parishes. This position reports to the Maintenance Director, Don Socolovitch.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:- Performs routine maintenance of buildings and surrounding structures.
- Regular upkeep of the appearance of parish buildings, to include landscaping, trash removal, and janitorial services.
- Able to maintain logs for mileage reimbursement.
- Basic understanding of OSHA and MiOSHA safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the maintenance director, pastor, and business manager.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver's license with current auto insurance and a reliable vehicle.
Physical Requirements:- Must be able to work well with multiple outside agencies, people and organizations connected with job responsibilities.
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions at times; cold, heat, inclement weather.
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision at times.
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach, and pick up items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Employee is expected to work flexible days/hours including occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Average weekly hours will be approximately 20 hours.
