Autonomous Vehicle Technician

Trillium Drivers is now seeking a part-time Autonomous Vehicle Technician in Grand Rapids, MN!

Pay will vary on experience, $28-$38/hr this will be for 2 - 6 months depending on need. Hours are Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) at $28-$38 per hour.

Key Responsibilities of the Role Include:

• Performing monthly vehicle inspections
• Performing monthly sensor calibration audits and new sensor calibrations
• Ensuring preventative OEM maintenance is completed on-time (e.g. oil changes and tire rotations)
• Replacement of defective ADK components
• Verifying AV functionality after repairs/maintenance
• Assisting the SAE with RTN testing and new release soak testing
• Assist in fleet cleanliness and demo readiness
• Other duties as assigned

Required
- Education in mechanical, electrical engineering, or relevant experience

- Experience with working on vehicles
- Experience and comfort in computing environments, especially Linux
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and/or electrical schematics
- Safety-first approach to all work
- Knowledge of wire harnesses and basic mechanical subsystems
- Systems-level thinking
- Experience using Git and Git Hub or Gitlab, or ability to learn
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
