Utah Motorsports Campus is seeking a motivated and dependable Track & Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain one of the premier motorsports facilities in the United States.
This position is responsible for maintaining race tracks, buildings, grounds, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, professional, and first‑class experience for racers, guests, tenants, and event organizers.
This is not a position for someone looking to simply “get through the day.” We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, pay attention to details, and understand that doing a job correctly the first time is more important than doing it quickly.
Core Responsibilities Track Maintenance- Repair and maintain racing surfaces, curbing, barriers, and safety systems.
- Perform crack sealing, asphalt repairs, and general track upkeep.
- Maintain gravel traps, runoff areas, fencing, and trackside infrastructure.
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and race‑day support.
- Inspect facilities for safety concerns and report deficiencies.
- Perform preventative maintenance on buildings and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain lighting systems, doors, locks, access control systems, and security equipment.
- Assist with facility improvements and capital projects.
- Support repairs to water systems, irrigation systems, and utility infrastructure.
- Operate mowers, tractors, loaders, forklifts, UTVs, and other equipment.
- Maintain landscaping, weed control, irrigation systems, and general campus appearance.
- Perform snow removal and seasonal maintenance as required.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on facility equipment.
- Perform basic repairs and coordinate larger repairs when necessary.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Takes ownership of their work.
- Notices problems before they become failures.

- Is willing to slow down and verify the job is done correctly.
- Leaves equipment, facilities, and work areas better than they found them.
