Role Purpose

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of fuel farm/storage and related equipment. You will be required to test and inspect fuels and additive products, compile and evaluate statistical data to evaluate and assure quality and reliability of products, and perform hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment maintenance of fuel farm/storage and related equipment.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Consult with manufacturer or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards and analyze fuels/additives to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Select and test fuel/additive products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and or chemical characteristics.
  • Record test data following statistical quality control procedures.
  • Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
  • Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into a computer for analysis.
  • Conduct work in a safe and environmentally conscious fashion by adhering to all company, industry, local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
What We Are Looking For
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possess and maintain valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Pass all pre‑employment testing including a drug screen, FBI background check, and employment history.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED, and one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical duties require standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reaching with arms, climbing or balancing; and talking or hearing. Tasks include digging, shoveling (e.g., snow removal around equipment and office). The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
