Position type: Full-time temporary role that starts now and runs through August, with potential for permanent placement if opportunities are available and performance warrants it.

Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Make Ready) to join the team for the summer at a well-maintained community with strong leadership and competitive pay.

• Pay: $20.50/hour, with $21.50/hour if EPA certified.
  
  Note:
  
  temporary position is not eligible for benefits/quarterly bonuses. Rates are $1.50/hour higher than a permanent position.
• Stay Bonus: Three bonus opportunities – $100 after 30, 60, and 90 days for staying through the summer.

• FULL-TIME: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hours/week)
• OPTIONAL participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team (additional bonus)

• Complete turn/make-ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• No HVAC certification/experience required
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience is a plus
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
