Position OverviewThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for daily inspections of building equipment and systems, identifying issues that may impact operations. Duties include maintenance of boilers, HVAC equipment, electrical and other systems, as well as general maintenance of the facilities and grounds. The role may also encompass additional tasks deemed necessary for the safe operation of the facilities, as assigned by the Facilities Manager, EOC Director, or CEO.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from a vocational or trade school (preferred)
- Minimum of one year of verifiable building operations experience
- Experience in a medical setting or with medical equipment is preferred
- Valid Montana driver’s license with no moving violations for one year when operating clinic vehicles
- A current Montana Low Pressure Boiler Operator’s License, or obtain one within one year of hire
- Current working knowledge of boilers and a low‑pressure boiler operator’s license
- Experience in building operations is a plus
- Computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to work with a variety of equipment, analyze and solve complex problems
- Proficiency in welding, soldering, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, grounds care, equipment operation, carpentry, concrete, and landscaping
- Use of standard equipment required to perform essential functions of the position
- Criminal background check
