Position OverviewThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for daily inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues that may impact operations. Other duties include maintenance of boiler and HVAC equipment, electrical and other equipment, and general maintenance of facilities and grounds. Electrical, communications and/or systems, IWMS, BMS experience preferred. Additional duties may be assigned by the Facilities Manager, EOC Director, and/or CEO to ensure safe operation of the facilities.
Receives direction from:
Facilities Manager.
- This position will have a schedule of M-F from 3pm-11:30pm
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification from a Vo-tech or trade school, preferred
- Minimum of one year of verifiable and successful building operations experience
- Experience in a medical setting or with medical equipment is preferred
- Valid MT driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons and no moving violations for one year in order to operate Clinic vehicles
- A current Montana Low Pressure Boiler Operator’s License or obtained within one year of hire
- Current working knowledge of boilers and low-pressure boiler operator's license
- Previous experience in building operations is a plus
- Computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to work with a variety of equipment, analyze and solve complex problems
- Current skills in welding, soldering, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, grounds care and equipment operation, carpentry, concrete, and landscaping
- Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position
