EVS Team Member - Surgery Center - 14070

• FTE Status: 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week)
• Work Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday 9am to 1pm.

Performs a wide range of EVS tasks and projects; daily cleaning of areas such as patient rooms, offices, and public areas, and periodic cleaning which includes cleaning carpet, refinishing floors, etc.

• Collecting trash, changing out sharp bins.
• Handle regulated medical waste.
• Perform environmental services tasks, ensuring all areas are clean and sanitized.
• Execute commercial cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Maintain floor care by performing routine maintenance and deep cleaning as needed.
  
  Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Conduct custodial duties in various settings, adhering to established cleaning protocols.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Previous EVS experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge/skills required.
