Part Time Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Maintenance Engineer:
Great opportunity for an entry-level or experienced maintenance engineer working for a well-established hotel with benefits.

We are looking for a Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Reliability and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will have some experience and basic technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Weekly pay on Fridays and employee discounts are included as part of the benefits. A 401(k) plan is available for both part-time and full-time roles.

• Perform general maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Repair broken locks and fill gaps on walls
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Install appliances and equipment
• Maintain pool and equipment
• Garden/yard upkeep and trash collection
• Replace light bulbs and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Pool certification required after hire
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• High school diploma or equivalent
