Minimum Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance work, including mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures related to maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or related fields.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and building systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, and replacements to prevent equipment failure.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and execute timely repairs to restore functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent.
- Collaborate with team members and management to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance procedures.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational downtime.
The required skills enable the Maintenance professional to effectively perform inspections, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and techniques. Proficiency in reading technical documents ensures accurate understanding of equipment specifications and maintenance procedures. Physical stamina and manual dexterity are essential for handling diverse maintenance tasks safely and efficiently. Preferred skills such as familiarity with CMMS enhance the ability to track maintenance schedules and document work systematically.
