Maintenance Planner/Outage Coordinator
Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products Division is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Outage Coordinator to support our Broadway Mill in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In this role, you will help drive equipment reliability, improve maintenance efficiency, and coordinate outage planning for a large-scale manufacturing operation. You will work closely with Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to identify solutions to equipment challenges, improve asset performance, and help ensure safe, reliable production.
The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufactures and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). The mill has about 1,050 mill operations employees and about 600 business support employees who provide engineering, transportation, data processing, and customer services. Every day, GP employees and products help maintain a strong, stable economy in Northeastern Wisconsin.
Plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance activities using SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support equipment reliability and operational performance.
Develop detailed work packages including labor requirements, materials, parts, contractor resources, and job plans to ensure work is ready for execution.
Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and identify improvement opportunities.
Lead outage and shutdown planning activities to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Prioritize maintenance work based on safety, risk, and operational impact.
Create and maintain preventive maintenance procedures, work orders, equipment documentation, and bills of material.
Coordinate contractor support, obtain quotes, and manage resources required for maintenance and outage activities.
Support continuous improvement efforts by enhancing asset strategies, work management processes, and maintenance planning practices.
Two years of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, military, maintenance, or operations environment.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as SAP, MP2, or JDE.
Experience as a Maintenance Scheduler or Planner in an industrial environment
Experience with facility infrastructure and industrial utility systems, such as steam, water, piping, or process-related systems
Electrical maintenance, planning, or electrician experience.
Knowledge of fabrication processes, equipment guarding, and custom component design or installation.
Experience with Microsoft Project
