Job Responsibilities
- Prioritize assigned maintenance work to execute emergency breakdown response.
- Report to immediate supervisor items affecting or potentially affecting proper and safe operation of plant and equipment.
- Maintain an acceptable backlog of planned maintenance activity.
- Run service calls, repair plumbing, electric, mechanical and other equipment in a timely, efficient manner.
- Maintain inventory of hospital standard finishes for repairs.
- Assist Director or Manager on department systems and functions as directed.
- Report safety issues and work with Director or Manager to determine corrective action.
- Develop and update technical policies and procedures.
- Attend construction rounds and report deficiencies.
- Assist in scheduling workload, work order assignment, and plant coverage.
- Order necessary parts and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair systems and components, inspect and complete service requests efficiently.
- Coordinate with contractors on scheduling and repairs.
- Coordinate utility shutdown requests with departments and contractors.
- Perform maintenance risk assessments prior to work on life security devices (e.g., fire, protection, utilities, HVAC).
- Respond to water intrusion events to minimize loss and prevent mold.
- Monitor and record moisture levels; trace roof leaks and report roof conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in a related discipline.

40 - Expected Starting Pay Range: $32.47 - $41.40 per hour (annualized pay may vary based on FTE status)
