Janitor Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 12.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift ( Monday through Friday from 02:30pm to 11:00pm )

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout school buildings
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Set up and arrange rooms for school events and activities
• Perform routine building maintenance and report repair needs
• Help maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment
• Follow cleaning schedules and school safety procedures
• Clean windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces
• Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects during breaks and summer months

Janitor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not always required
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet school district employment requirements
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or special events as needed
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus
