Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities and playing a vital role in ensuring operational excellence and safety across the property. Your expertise will directly contribute to minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining the structural and operational integrity of the facility. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot malfunctions, execute preventive maintenance, and handle repairs across various trades.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical spaces, diagnosing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend the lifespan of facility assets.
  • Perform general physical repairs and facility upkeep, including carpentry, drywall fixing, painting, and basic structural maintenance.
  • Prioritize, track, and complete service requests through work order management systems while documenting labor hours and parts used.
  • Ensure all work adheres to local safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Act as the primary responder for urgent facility issues and building-related emergencies.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts inventory, ordering new stock when necessary.
Eye Wash Station Maintenance Special Instructions for Weekly & Monthly PEs

Visibly identify the shower/eyewash with asset tag

  • Verify valves are simple on or off within 1 second and easy to operate
  • Verify on self-contained shower/eyewash that bottle containers are current on date
  • Flow shower/eyewash station until water is clear, ensure spray patterns on heads flow freely of obstructions

irregular patterns

  • Wipe all excess water from shower/eyewash station
  • Submit a reliability work order for heads with flow/pattern issues or excess buildup of calcium/lime shower/eyewash station
  • Sign and Date Inspection card at each location
Special Instructions for Annual PEs
  • Visibly identify the shower /eyewash with asset tag
  • Valves are simple on or off within 1 second and easy

1 second and easy to locate.

Safety Shower PM (20 gal/min)

Eye Wash PM (.4 gal/min)

  • Clean or Replace heads on shower / eyewash if needed
  • Sign and Date Inspection card at each location.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, industrial operations, or a related trade
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, stand for long periods, and work in varying environments
  • Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills to isolate root causes of machinery and facility failures
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple work orders efficiently
  • Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with OSHA guidelines and environmental regulations
  • Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms in accordance with safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Previous experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance
