We are seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our Mission Aviation Services team in Greensboro, NC

In the role of Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing on Samaritan's Purse B767 aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), applicable maintenance requirements, manufacturer guidance, industry best practices, and ministry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft maintenance discrepancies, document completed maintenance accurately, and coordinate with other maintenance personnel and operational staff to ensure the aircraft remains safe, airworthy, and mission-ready.
• Tow, position, secure, and otherwise service company aircraft as directed, operating applicable Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and following established procedures for safe aircraft movement and ground operations.
• Travel with aircraft as a crew member when required and assist with aircraft operations at home base and en-route destinations, including loading and unloading aircraft as needed to support missions.
• Perform line service and aircraft support duties, including aircraft refueling and interior and exterior cleaning, while maintaining hangar areas, equipment, and facilities in a safe, clean, organized, and mission-ready condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and at least seven (7) years of industry aircraft maintenance experience maintaining turbine/jet powered aircraft, preferably in transport category; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Boeing aircraft maintenance experience preferred. Significant avionics experience highly desirable.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
• Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration regulations, records, and procedures.
• Thorough mechanical knowledge of aircraft systems, machinery, tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong reasoning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; highly effective communication and interpersonal skills that foster productive working relationships.

Travel: This position requires domestic/international travel of approximately 60-90 days/year. Maintaining required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary.
