Read complex industrial sketches, schematics, engineering layouts, and canonical weld symbols;
Assemble, align, and secure metal work pieces using custom-built jigs and fixtures;
Master oxyacetylene torches, plasma arc cutters, and air carbon arc gouging tools;
Operate angle grinders, bandsaws, shears, punches, and defect-testing instruments;
Join metals using a continuous solid wire electrode fed through a welding gun
