What you'll be doing:

• Keep classrooms, offices, residence halls, and common areas clean and presentable
• Sweep, mop, dust, and perform general cleaning duties
• Sanitize restrooms and high-touch surfaces
• Remove trash and recycling
• Operate floor buffers and cleaning equipment
• Report maintenance or safety concerns
• Support different buildings across campus as needed
• Help create a safe and welcoming environment for the entire campus community

What we're looking for:

• Custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities experience is preferred
• Reliable and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Comfortable lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
• Ability to learn and operate cleaning equipment
• Punctual and dependable for early morning shifts
• Team players who take pride in their work

Schedule:

8-hour shifts

Start times between 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM

Finish around 12:30 PM

Every other weekend rotation

Additional days off built into weekend schedules

Job type & location:
This is a contract to hire position based out of Greensburg, PA.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
