• High school diploma/GED required
• Previous experience as a housekeeper/janitor
• Must be a team player and also be a self starter

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a designated area, including any number of buildings and the surrounding area.
• Should be in moderate physical health and able to stay on feet for hours each day, as well as climb, bend and move heavy equipment.
• Basic cleaning: sweeping, mopping or vacuuming floors, dusting, polishing furniture and cleaning glass. May be required to clean laboratory equipment.
• Responsible for keeping bathrooms clean and well stocked, as well as informing a supervisor when more supplies are needed.
• May be required to operate heavy-duty equipment like carpet shampooers, steam cleaners and power tools.
