Mutha’s Helpers is a professional cleaning company founded by members of the LGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent communities. We are proudly 100% owned and operated by members of these communities, and our business is growing rapidly. We’re looking for motivated, reliable individuals to join our fast-paced, fun, and supportive team as residential and commercial cleaners.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for sanitizing and maintaining residential and commercial spaces. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning kitchens and restrooms, emptying trash, and cleaning interior appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, and ovens, as well as interior windows. You’ll follow health and safety standards, restock supplies, and ensure consistently high levels of cleanliness.

This position requires physical stamina (including climbing stairs and lifting up to 40 lbs), strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Starting pay is $18/hour with a sixty day probationary period after which you are eligible for tip sharing and merit‑based wage increases.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional weekend opportunities for select commercial clients

Residential & Commercial Cleaner

• General Cleaning:
  Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning windows/mirrors.
• Sanitization:
  Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms (toilets, sinks) and break rooms/kitchens (microwaves, counters).
• Maintenance:
  Emptying trash cans/recycling, polishing furniture, and removing debris.
• Detailed Cleaning:
  Deep cleaning, including washing walls, cleaning baseboards, and changing bed linens (for residential).
• Safety Compliance:
  Adhering to safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Reporting:
  Identifying and communicating maintenance needs, repairs, on‑site incidents to management.

• Residency:
  Must be a legal US citizen that is legally permitted to work within the United States.
• Language:
  Able to speak, read, and understand spoken English.
• Physical Ability:
  Must be able to walk up and down stairs, stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Location:
  
  Greenville, SC.
• Reliability:
  Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper. Must have prior experience and references.
• Transportation:
  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background Check:
  Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Skills:
  
  Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and sanitation techniques.

  Ability to manage time effectively and work under minimal supervision.
