POSITION SUMMARY: General maintenance and repairs on University Residence Halls (May 2026 through August 2026)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
40 hours per week Monday - Friday (some part time positions are available)
- Replace lights/light bulbs
- Unplug drains and commodes
- Repair drawers
- Repair doors and walls
- Replace HVAC filters
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University or Bob Jones Academy
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Ability to learn new skills
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 100 lbs. and push/pull up to 25 lbs.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
