Floor Technician

We are hiring immediately for full‑time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions at Crothall Healthcare (a Compass Healthcare company) located at Greer Memorial, 830 South Buncombe Road, Greer, SC 29650.

Schedule:

Full‑time, rotating rotations of 3:00 pm–11:30 pm and 11:00 pm–7:30 am, including weekends and holidays. Days may vary. The pay range is $18.00 to $22.69 per hour.

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
