My name is Avery, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Greer, SC details of the position are as follows:

Job Description:

Pay: $22.20 an hr based on experience
3 Month Assignment Possibility of Extension or Conversion based on performance and budget
Mon-Thurs 2nd Shift 3PM – 1PM
The position will mainly be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a timely, complete, and cost effective manner
Perform duties to maintain production machines and other facility equipment
Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management
Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system
Identifies and recommends corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs
Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended downtime
Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies
Responds quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers
Maintains building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping, and plumbing
Communicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments relating to product quality and equipment repair
Good working knowledge of electricity and troubleshooting electrical issues
Experience in welding
Experience with PLCs, Drives and preferred
