Maintenance Technician 1

Job Description

• Pay: $22.20 an hr based on experience
• 3 Month Assignment Possibility of Extension or Conversion based on performance and budget
• Mon‑Thurs 2nd Shift 3PM – 1PM
• The position will mainly be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a timely, complete, and cost effective manner
• Perform duties to maintain production machines and other facility equipment
• Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management
• Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system
• Identifies and recommends corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs
• Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended downtime
• Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies
• Responds quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers
• Maintains building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping, and plumbing
• Communicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments relating to product quality and equipment repair
• Good working knowledge of electricity and troubleshooting electrical issues
• Experience in welding
• Experience with PLCs, Drives and preferred
