1. THIS IS A W2 CONTRACT, long term, ongoing, with no end date.
2. PTO, holiday pay, and sick pay offered
Pay Range: 18.04 /hr.
- USD 22.00 /hr.
A-shift hours
- Working Hours:
6 am-2:40 pm (Lunch 12:00 pm- 12:40 pm) (Break time is 8 am-8:10 am, second break 10 am- 10:10 am). Monday-Friday (by Thursday would know if there will be any Saturday or Sunday overtime) Need someone who would be okay with overtime, if required.
This team will process cars and will complete some basic computer work with an internal system. The computer work will be taught but it is basic and repetitive. Need to be able to navigate computer programs. Each car takes approximately 45 minutes to process. They park the car and take it through the car wash. They then bring the car inside to complete some computer work and paperwork for the vehicle processing.
This position will work in all-weather elements outside. Approximately 25% of their day would be outside (could vary). Must be able to drive manual. MVR is required
Position Purpose/Scope:
Performs installation of accessories and movement of vehicles for dealer network using systems (SAP/VMS/VDS).
- Ensure vehicles are scanned into inventory.
- Perform QC1, PD1, Prepping car
- Supports process of inbound and outbound vehicle movements using FIFO.
- Performs installation of car accessories and parts using hand tools or other equipment provided by company.
- Ensures work tools are properly assigned and counted.
- Visually inspects vehicles and parts for quality defects.
- Ensures parts are properly scrapped or recycled.
- Utilizes SAP/VMS/VDS for processing vehicle service orders and vehicle movements.
- Utilizes handheld scanners for updating vehicle locations.
- Acts as contact quality for any defects found on parts or vehicles.
- Assists where necessary including accessory installation, vehicle movements and scanning inventory.
- Daily problem solving and adherence to work instructions.
- Ensure all deadlines are met.
- Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
- Understands and models VPS Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Competencies:
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED - Experience:
1+ years of experience work experience (in a production environment preferred). - 1+ years of experience with all MS Office applications (preferred).
- 1+ years of vehicle experience (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license
- 1+ years Logistics and/or warehouse knowledge (preferred).
- 1+ years SAP knowledge (preferred).
- Installs parts and accessories ("C").
- Movement of vehicles ("C").
- Operates computers or other equipment (radios, scanners, etc.) ("C").
- Stands or walks ("C").
