Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion)
Location: Gresham, OR

Compensation: $25/hour to $50/hour DOE, plus sign on bonus ($3,000 with Associates, $5,000 with Bachelors) plus shift differential
Schedule: Night Shift B – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Saturday, 7 PM – 7:06 AM. Night shift differential of 15% is added.
About the OpportunityAs an Equipment Maintenance Technician within a 200 mm manufacturing facility in Gresham, Oregon, you will work in a dynamic team environment and perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on a variety of innovative semiconductor manufacturing tools. Each day, you will be challenged by working on a diverse set of tools with a world‑class team.
What You’ll Do- Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose the root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations.
- Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment in accordance with maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
- Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
- Drive solutions and guidelines, recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
- Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
- Vendor management and coordination.
- Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring.
- Work in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing a smock, hood, booties, latex gloves, and safety glasses.
- May require the use of an APR (air‑purifying respirator).
- May require the occasional use of personal protective equipment, including but not limited to aprons, heat gloves, and full‑face masks.
- Requires standing for up to 75% of the shift.
- Requires lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- May require work with hazardous gases, chemicals, and voltages up to 1500 volts.
- Associate’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics engineering or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum 2 years of prior technician experience on semiconductor diffusion equipment, with practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls, and familiarity with tools such as SEMITOOL batch spray solvent tools, Siconnex batch spray solvent tool, DNS WS‑820L, WS‑820C, FC820L, FC821L, FC820L‑2, MEI Evolution Wet benches, LAM(SEZ) SP‑203, 223, 4200, and Davinci single‑wafer cleaning tools.
- Knowledge of the Wet and Solvent areas, including general process theory and equipment mechanics.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Ability to recognize deviations from normal operation when they are developing.
- Understanding and support of the 5S process.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Works satisfactorily in the conditions described above.
