Building Maintenance Manager

The Building Maintenance Manager will oversee the operations and maintenance of properties and grounds, ensuring the safety and security of facilities and coordinating maintenance and facility management tasks.

• Perform preventive maintenance on all operating equipment
• Maintain and update information in equipment logs
• Respond to service calls and make necessary repairs
• Perform chemical tests of building water treatment systems
• Have basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC equipment
• Be able to multitask and lift 50 or more pounds
• Ensure and maintain accurate records that meet all facility safety regulations and fire codes (DEQ)
• Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Negotiate contracts and supervise the work of third‑party vendors and contractors
• Order supplies for maintenance and the building

• Completion of High School
• Two or more years of experience in building maintenance
• Basic computer skills with experience in Word documents and Excel
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and fire safety, and state and federal regulations
