Summary:

The purpose of this position is to assist the Automotive Technology Faculty with student training. The length of employment is routinely the academic year (fall and spring terms); however, some work may be performed during the summer as needed. This is a necessary position due to increase of enrollment and the need for one or one with the students.

Job Duties:

* Supervise students in the lab.

* Supervise the use of hand and power tools used in the Automotive industry.

* Will evaluate student skills and work ethic and present findings to Automotive Technology Instructor.

* Supports the overall success of the District by performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

HS Diploma or equivalent and one year Automotive Technology education or equivalent experience.

Abilities:
Ability to take direction; attention to detail and accuracy completing tasks.

Tools and Equipment Usage:
Measuring tools, hand and bench tools, precision hand tools, power tools, and automotive shop equipment.
