Custodian​/Janitor

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm through 11:00 pm.

We’re hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. Never done this kind of work before? That’s totally fine—we’ll train you and make sure you feel confident every step of the way.

• Check in with supervisor and teammates to review the cleaning plan for the day.
• Collect necessary supplies—mops, brooms, vacuums, disinfectants, and fresh bags.
• Execute cleaning tasks:
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
  • Take out trash and replace bags.
  • Clean restrooms, refill supplies, and wipe down tables, chairs, and doors.
  • Dust furniture, shelves, and vents.
  • Wipe windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Conduct a final walkthrough to ensure everything is clean and neat before ending the shift.
• Return tools and supplies to the storage area and prepare for tomorrow.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies weighing up to 25‑30 pounds regularly.
• Navigate stairs, ramps, or uneven flooring while carrying tools or supplies.
• Work primarily indoors in commercial buildings with varying temperature and lighting conditions.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents—personal protective equipment (PPE) is always required.
• Possible exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, and other typical indoor environmental factors.
• May encounter biohazardous materials or bodily fluids—PPE in place.
• Confined or awkward spaces such as under sinks, behind furniture, or inside equipment areas may be required.
• Noise from vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and other machinery may be present—hearing protection as needed.
