Responsibilities
- Assist site leadership in executing daily operations for the facilities team.
- Monitor and adjust building HVAC and mechanical systems, acknowledge critical building alarms, and take appropriate corrective actions; respond after hours if repairs are required.
- Provide expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance of a wide variety of industrial or commercial facility HVAC equipment.
- Identify and correct safety‑related issues and perform independent equipment evaluations to detect potential failures.
- Operate, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHU’s, split systems, compressors, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment as needed.
- Use the building automation system to track building conditions and equipment operation.
- Apply strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete assignments.
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC control and operating systems as scheduled from a CMMS.
- Respond to and provide service feedback on all work orders while ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Follow safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, and wear PPE as required.
- Operate measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments to support energy‑efficiency solutions.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain a strict schedule to ensure assignment success.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management or leads.
- Work in a team environment with a one‑team mentality; be friendly, respectful, empathetic, and professional to teammates and clients.

- Balance workload and multiple tasks while focusing on attention to detail and prioritizing assignments.
- Take initiative to resolve issues independently and shift priorities as needed.
- Maintain strong customer relations and client partnering skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of technical experience in any skilled trade.
- Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client’s location.
- Willingness to work overtime, various shifts, and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
- United States citizenship or permanent residency.
- Regularly lift to 50lbs, climb ladders and scaffolding, perform repetitive motions, walk extensively during shifts, and communicate verbally in meetings and presentations.
- Wear steel‑toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other required PPE.
- Ability to cope with job stressors and demands.
- Technical degree preferred.
- Experience operating building management systems.
- Experience using a CMMS; EAMS experience is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
- Demonstrated technical background in pharmaceutical or hospital facilities environments.
- OE2, D2, S‑1 or S‑2 license USP 797 and 897.
Hourly rate: 32.00–36.00
USD.
