Maintenance Technician – The Ashford at Sturbridge

We are currently seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician for The Ashford n our team and help create a luxurious, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents.

• Complete various work orders for site maintenance projects as directed by the Community leader.
• Complete unit turns as directed by the Community leader.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and document detailed completion notes in the work order tracking system.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests within the district, including on‑call rotations.
• Maintain required certifications for the position.
• Maintain the communities within the district to company standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year of prior maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing and/or electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and repair procedures.
• Commitment to delivering a positive resident experience through respectful communication and timely repair.
• Adaptable and flexible problem‑solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to balance and organize multiple priorities.

The position requires extensive walking, stooping/bending, balancing, kneeling, squatting, and climbing. The ability to lift 50 lbs is necessary. Reasonable accommodation is available for talking, seeing, and hearing requirements.

Travel between communities within the district may be required. Work is performed both indoors (residence, common areas, maintenance shop) and outdoors (community grounds, outdoor common areas).
