Required:
- Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented.
- Perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as in climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. Activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, such as in the physical handling of materials, climbing stairs, and kneeling to clean under approximately 15 to 25 beds per day. Clean a minimal of 3 condominium units consisting of 1, 2 & 3 's.
Ability to lift 40 lbs on a regular basis and bring all linen down.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a representative of Brett/Robinson, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other employees of Brett/Robinson, owners, guests, and other members of the community.
- Responsible for stocking cart, maintaining cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, and ensuring cart is cleaned after daily use.
- Required to have a charged phone for software use during work hours and not for personal use.
- Accountable for accepting and completing units according to specified picture setup.
- Change all bed linens and terries even if they appear to be unused, including sofa sleeper during each clean.
- Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner.
- Dust furniture and electronic equipment.
- Empty and clean wastebasket inside and out. Transport trash and waste to disposal.
- Clean floors using brooms, vacuums, and mops.
- Clean tubs, showers, shower curtains, sinks, vanities, and toilets.
- Separate towels, sheets and soiled linens and collect for laundering and transport them to designated area by office.
- Separate and bring down dirty rags and mop pads, ensuring not mixed with soiled linens.
- Replenish supplies, such as trash bags, soaps, and bathroom items.
- Clean mirrors and door panels.
- Load and unload dishes from dishwasher, dry dishes, and put them away in proper places.
- Cleans refrigerator, stove, and microwave inside and out.
- Clean all appliances and cabinets.
- Report safety hazards, accidents, and injuries.
- Attend departmental meetings.
- Report damages to supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Uniform apparel required. Clothes must fit properly, be washed and pressed, and not have holes.
- Maintain personal hygiene with neat appearance, including conservative hair, make-up, jewelry, and fingernails.
- Work environment includes exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, and various cleaning products.
- Ability to work flexible hours, 40 hours per week, seven days per week according to seasonal needs.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are expected in accordance with company policy.
