Crew Member, Maintenance​/Cleaning

This work involves performance of a wide variety of routine and/or unskilled activities which are related to the following areas: all types of maintenance, construction, or such other areas as designated by the immediate supervisor. Duties require a limited knowledge of a particular craft or area of work and work is performed under limited supervision of a supervisor. The supervisor provides basic training and instruction in the proper performance of the duties.

The incumbent carries out these duties in a manner that does not require continuous and direct supervision.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities The following are examples of work performed for positions in this job class, and are not intended to reflect the essential functions of any one position. Performs tasks which may involve physical activity in cleaning, maintaining, repairing, and beautifying building and grounds.

Performs physical tasks involved in loading, unloading, and moving furniture, supplies, and equipment.

Performs routine equipment, machinery, and/or laboratory maintenance or operative duties under limited supervision.

Performs physical tasks involved in construction, maintenance, and repair of highways,buildings and other structures or facilities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications High school diploma or GED and three (3) years road work, and any combination of related education and experience equaling three (3) years, orAny combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and three (3)
Years of related experience.
