As a chicken catcher, you will need to catch a certain amount of birds and know the proper placement techniques with birds being put into the cages. The expected results are as follows: to insure animal welfare guidelines are followed and to count the amount of birds loaded into the cages.

Description of activities includes acquiring and putting on all required PPE (safety glasses, safety vest, gloves (optional), arm sleeves (optional)), performing routine stretches before starting daily duties, walking the house (bed the birds), waiting for cage to be set on blocks, opening cage door, catching the correct amount of birds, loading birds in cage one hand at a time, and repeating the process until the cage is full.

After the proper amount of birds is placed in the cage, shut the cage door. Hours are dependent on catch schedule, with overtime as needed.
