Shipping Associate

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 (based on qualifications)

This position is responsible for ensuring all orders are shipped on time and complete, maintaining daily cycle counts and providing support to Customer Service.

Gurnee (Lakeside)

• Pick & prepare orders for both spares, hire and demo and the loaner pools
• Process paper work required for small parcel and LTL shipments
• Transact orders through the Oracle system
• Respond to customer service questions or inventory inquiries
• Notify Operations Manager and Customer Service of any stock outs or inventory discrepancies
• Process miscellaneous shippers for all Domino staff
• Prepare export documents for shipping of product in line with current guidelines as necessary
• Ensure on time delivery of 98%
• Ordering shipping supplies when low on equipment or materials
• Question freight charges for spare and misc. shipments if appropriate
• Daily filing of shipping paperwork
• Case Management on the Sales Force System for W01 & H03
• Process Daily cycle counts in the Oracle system
• Investigate variances of parts and notify Operations manager and Shipping Coordinator of results

• Maintain 5S standards for the shipping and receiving area
• Operate tier-lift truck and pallet jack to move or lift product to storage areas

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of related experience required

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Able to work with different levels of employees/customers
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks and ask for help when necessary

• Medium work. Medium work involves exerting no more than 50 pounds of force at a time, with frequent exertion of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, gross/fine manipulation, driving, kneeling, crawling, and climbing may be required. Physical demand requirements are more than those for Light Work.
