Groundskeeper – John Vance Auto Group (Guthrie, OK)

John Vance Auto Group, a family‑owned and operated business serving Oklahoma for over 40 years, is looking for a reliable Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker to help keep our dealership facilities and outdoor areas safe, clean, and looking their best.

As a Groundskeeper, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of our dealership. From mowing and landscaping to light repairs and general upkeep, this position is hands‑on and active, perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and taking pride in a job well done.

• Keep dealership grounds visually appealing and safe
• Pick up and dispose of trash
• Take tires to the recycling bin
• Mow, weed eat, water, and fertilize grass
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers
• Paint indoor and outdoor surfaces (walls, poles, doors, curbs)
• Perform light maintenance (replace doors, windows, walls, carpet, filters, etc.)
• Move boxes, equipment, or furniture as needed
• Remove damaged/unwanted trees, equipment, or debris
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Must be self‑motivated, dependable, and proud of your work
• Ability to sit, stand, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Maintenance or groundskeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions year‑round
• Familiarity with chemicals, tools, and equipment used in groundskeeping and maintenance
