Performs assigned duties which may include cleaning assigned areas in order to provide a clean, comfortable and inviting environment for customers and employees.

Housekeeper Supervisor

• Clean building interiors by performing tasks such as dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, vents, and light fixtures.
• Sweep, scrub, and refinishing floors.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpet.
• Resupply restrooms and replace light bulbs as needed.
• Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness and document cleaning actions taken.
• Note areas requiring additional care or monitoring and inform supervisor of incomplete work.
• May be exposed to waste, infectious waste, diseases, conditions consistent with casino housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

No previous experience required

• Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
• Must be able to follow all instructions, written and oral.
• Must be able to handle various cleaning solvents and chemicals.
• Must be able to use housecleaning equipment and materials, floor polishers/buffers, spray bottles, and ladders.
• Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens may exist when encountering spilled blood or body fluids.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs. to effectively utilize various equipment.
• Must be able to walk for long periods; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and promotional events.
• Must be able to work in a smoke filled casino environment.
• Must complete pre‑employment drug test with a negative result.
• Must pass a background check and receive any required license or permit from a regulatory agency.
