Assistant System Inspector

Job Description

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

* Assist the System Inspector on the job site, as needed.

* Assist valve crews, as needed.

* Assist emergency Inspectors only on the job site.

* Conduct hydrant testing, valve testing, and flushing programs.

* Assist System Inspectors with customer notifications.

* Operate company systems, devices and software applications.

* Perform their duties and share services for other business units in the NJ/NY Metro region, as assigned.

* Perform other similar or less skilled work, as assigned.

* Assists employees of a higher classification, as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

* High School Diploma/GED is required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:

* Must pass demonstration of abilities test.

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $38.36 per hour.
