Forklift Driver
Reports ToAssistant Production Manager
Primary ResponsibilityTeamwork oriented employee responsible for the movement of materials in receiving, production and shipping as needed.
Essential Duties and Daily Tasks- Systemically scan and physically pull products to prepare for shipment.
- Move cabinet material, and any material from storage to work areas and vice versa.
- Perform routine maintenance on forklift as required by established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas as assigned.
- Maintain inventory records as required.
- Perform duties consistent with established safety rules and procedures.
- Coordinate with saw operators and production management.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
- Teamwork – Balances team and individual responsibilities.
- Quality – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
- Quantity – Meets productivity standards; completes work in a timely manner; strives to increase productivity; works quickly.
- Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time.
- Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
- 90% of work performed in an outdoor environment subject to weather, noise, and dust.
- Ability to read, write, and do basic mathematics.
- Able to use a tape measure for accuracy.
- Able to bend and stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
