Supervisor of Streets/Infrastructure Maintenance
Performs supervisory work over a team of skilled and unskilled workers engaged in a variety of manual tasks, including street maintenance, sidewalk repairs, signage installation and maintenance, and related infrastructure tasks. Schedules and coordinate daily work activities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. Requires a comprehensive understanding and broad application of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to street maintenance, sidewalks, and signage functions.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Associate's degree in business management or related field.
- Two (2) or more years' experience relating to construction operations, utilities, maintenance, or repair work; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
- Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment.
- Must have a valid Florida Class B commercial driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
Note:
Five or more years' experience related to construction, utilities, maintenance, or repair work may be credited for up to two (2) years of the associate degree requirement. In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.

Insurance benefits include:
- Health Insurance:
The City provides employees with health insurance benefits through Aetna Health Care Plan. The City pays 100% of the premium cost for employee and 70% for dependent(s). - Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA):
The City provides General Employees with a Health Reimbursement Arrangement account to help cover the cost of the annual health insurance deductible. The monies are not taxable, are pre-funded by the City and can be used to pay any qualified in-network medical deductible or prescription copays that are incurred under the medical plan. - Dental Insurance:
The City provides employees with dental insurance through Aetna Dental, of which two options (Dental DMO and Dental PPO) are offered. The City pays $5.00 per month towards dental coverage premium. - Vision Program:
Vision coverage on routine eye exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses is available through Aetna Health Care. The City pays 100% coverage for employee only. - Life Insurance / Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance:
The City provides all full-time employees with $50,000 in term life insurance. There is no cost to employees for this benefit. - Supplemental Life Insurance / Supplemental AD&D Insurance:
Employees may purchase supplemental term life insurance up to $500,000 on an individual-choice basis with premiums based on age. - Discounted Supplemental Insurances:
